Classes Suspended on June 24, 2011 (Friday) in Metro Manila due to Typhoon Falcon

The Department of Education (DepEd) canceled all Pre school, elementary and high school classes tomorrow June 24, 2011 (Friday) in all areas of Metro Manila due the flood brought about by the current typhoon named “Falcon”.

Elena Ruiz of DepEd said that the decision was made after their consultation with Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).


As of this writing, the Commission in Higher Education (CHED) is not yet announcing the suspension of classes in College levels.

Earlier tonight, the DepEd also suspends classes in all levels in Marikina and Cainta.
