Shalani Soledad is not a model of Bench, this is the summarized statement of Ben Chan (owner of Bench) in a PEP interview just recently. The issue started after rumors circulated that Shalani will be the next endorser of the famous clothing line and whose billboard will be launched on the second week of December.

Ben Chan was also shocked and already gave his statements regarding the issue. He said: "Sa'n yun nalaman, nobody knows! Nagtataka rin nga kami kung saan nalaman nung... Kung saan man yun lumabas". In the same interview, he also falsified the issue that Kris Aquino controlled the release of Shalani's Bench billboard launching. "It's not true. Nagte-text lang kami. Ganun lang. Hindi pinag-uusapan yun, e". Ben also clarified that the billboard scheduled to be posted next week will be the requested billboard of Willie Revillame for his TV 5 variety show, Willing Willie. He approved the request because Willie is one of the endorsers of Bench cologne known as "Wil Cologne".
