GMA’s controversial character actress Katrina Halili lost the case she filed against Hayden Kho when the Pasig Regional Trial Court dismissed her complaint last Tuesday. The case is in connection with the scandalous video involving her and Kho which ran like circus last year.
Halili charged Kho with violation of Republic Act (RA) 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act, after their scandalous video, which she averred was taken without her consent. Other scandalous videos of Kho with other women in the entertainment industry like Maricar Reyes and a Brazilian model also shocked the whole nation last year.
In court hearings, Kho admitted that he personally videotaped those videos with different women. He likewise asked an apology for the spread of the scandalous videos, saying that these were uploaded and reproduced by his detractors.
As a result of the scandal, the medical license of Kho, who is a cosmetic surgeon, was rescinded by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The decision was made after Halili filed a complaint before the commission.
