Zyrene Parsad of "Are you the Next Big Star?" will sing the Philippine National Anthem, "Lupang Hinirang", in the upcoming fight of Manny Pacquiao with Antonio Margarito at Dallas Texas this November. She was chosen by Pacquiao to sing the National Anthem in his boxing fight with Margarito.
Zyrene Parsad even consulted NHI of her rendition of Lupang Hinirang. Teddy Atienza, the head for Heraldy Sectionof NHI advised her to sing the song according to its original rendition. Failure to follow will incur a 20,000 to 40,000 fine and a 1 year in jail.

Parsad was also advised to relax for her to be focused on the lyrics and not forget any. The singing of the National Anthem should only last for 53 seconds with 2/4 beats as to the rules.

I am very dissapointed on the way she (Zyrene Parsad) sang the "Lupang Hinirang". Kalangan bang american accent pa: "Bhayang Megileiw...."
