Angelica Panganiban on Buying Votes for Best Actress Award in 27th Star Awards

Angelica Panganiban denied the allegations that she is buying votes for a best actress award in the upcoming 27th PMPC Star Awards for Movies this June 2011. She was nominated in this major acting category together with Lorna Tolentino and Bea Alonzo (Sa'yo Lamang), Lovi Poe (Mayohan), Anne Curtis (In your Eyes), AiAi delas Alas (Ang Tanging Ina N'yo Last na to) and Dawn Zulueta (Sigwa).

The rumors started on the P15, 000 pesos she gave as solicitation and Christmas gift to a reporter.


The circulating rumors were clarified by Angelica, as quoted from pep, she said:

"I don't think gano'n sila ka-cheap, na for P5,000 na gift check, ibibigay nila sa akin ang trophy. It's sad naman na may mga gano'ng tao na puwede mong bayaran para lang mabigyan ka ng karangalan."

Angelica also laughed on the rumors regarding her new scandal. She said that she is used to this kind of issues, these are not new to her.
