True Colors was declared as the “All-Star Barangayan Grand Champion” of ABS-CBN's Showtime dance contest held on May 14, 2011 at Ynares Center in Antipolo Rizal. Coming from General Santos City, the dance group impressed the panel of judges who gave the group an almost perfect score after their performance. The judges composed of Georgina Wilson, Zsazsa Padilla, Jimmy Bondoc, Kiray, and Christian Bautista who returned as guest judges while hosts Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, Karylle, Teddy Corpuz, Jugs Jugueta, Kim Atienza, and resident judge Vice Ganda, presented a grand production number.
True Colors bested “Anonymous Edition” from Rizal, “Cool Guyz” from Laguna, “Asian Pride” from Mandaluyong, “Vision 20” from Laguna, “Tribos Humanikas” from Caloocan, “Artist Youth of the Philippines” from Bulacan, “True Colors” from General Santos, “Yuri Crowd” from Bacolod, “BTLA Kids” from Caloocan, and the Negros Dance Collective.
The group received one million pesos in cash and another one million for their barangay.
