Mula sa Puso Remake Lead Cast revealed - ABS CBN

The classic TV soap opera which soared the Philippine television way back years will be returning in ABS-CBN primetime race. Mula sa Puso which was starred by the late Rico Yan and Claudine Barretto will be aired again this 2011 through a remake.

According to reports, Mula sa Puso Remake cast comprised of Lauren Young, Enrique Gil and JM de Guzman. Lauren will be playing the role of Via and JM as Gabriel. The actress who will portray the antagonist character which was performed by Princess Punzalan as Selina is not yet announced. The remake will be directed by the award winning comedy-drama director Wenn Deramas.

Mula sa Puso was aired in ABS-CBN for almost three years. A teleserye which made Claudine Barretto one of the sought-after actresses during 90s. Aside from Claudine and Rico, some of the artists who performed on the soap were Rica Peralejo, Patrick Garcia, Paula Peralejo, Jacklyn Jose, Eula Valdez, Charito Solis, Maricel Laxa, Carlos Morales and the like.

The TV Soap opera was well received and tuned by the audience, it has acquired the highest nationwide TV ratings of 56.5% and 37.9% on its pilot episode.
