Sharon Cuneta fell off the stage after her continuous birthday concert performance at the Araneta Coliseum last Tuesday night, January 11, 2011. She was rushed in St. Luke's Medical Center, Global City after the 3-hours concert. Local reports said that the cause of the stage incident was exhaustion. Kiko Pangilinan and KC Concepcion both confirmed that Sharon Cuneta was very tired because she's hungry before the show.
Kiko Pangilinan also calmed his wife's fans through a text messsage that he sent to ABS-CBN, he said that Sharon is feeling much better and will be fine soon.
The incident happened while she was singing a rock and roll number with Billy Crawford and RJ Jacinto. Fans thought that she was ok because she even joked after the incident, but she ended up in a wheelchair and brought immediately in the hospital.
The concert featured Sharon Cuneta's production numbers together with the Star Power 5's finalist, Sam Milby, Ai Ai de las Alas, Piolo Pascual, KC Concepcion, Toni Gonzaga, Jericho Rosales and Karylle.
