Lunar Eclipse 2010 - December Christmas Lunar Eclipse visible in the Philippines

Also known as the Christmas Lunar Eclipse, a lunar eclipse will occur on December 20, 2010. Reports said that the eclipse will begin from Northern Europe before sunrise and will end in Northeastern portion of Asia. It will be visible also after midnight EST in North and South America.

Philippines is lucky since the Lunar eclipse will be clearly visible after sunset. It was the second lunar eclipse for 2010, according to wikipedia, the first was during June 26, 2010. Since 1638, this will be the first Lunar eclipse to occur simultaneously with the Winter Solstice, the first day of winter.
