After almost two months of fighting for her crown, Maria Venus Raj can now regain her title as Binibining Pilipinas-Universe after the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) finally issued a Philippine passport under her name.
Raj is set to compete in the upcoming Miss Universe 2010 pageant in Las Vegas on October 31.
The DFA issued a passport to Raj on Wednesday (May 12) based on the evaluation of an ad hoc committee saying that "she is a Filipino citizen."
